It does leak but other than that great
Holds a lot and good for slinging over the shoulder. I can put toys, juice and food in it too. I just took out liners and don't use it for milk...
Don't Waste Your Money!
The "Leak Proof Liner" is not "leak proof." If you are keeping a bottle in your cooler, there WILL come a day when one of the bottles will leak. And when it does, the fluid will leak behind the liner and through the bottom of the tote onto whatever surface you have it placed on. Plus, the cooler does not keep items cool as long as it says it should. In the case of this product, it truly is false advertising. There are better products out there! Please don't waste your money on a Baby Innovations/California Innovations product!
Lots of use & still going strong
I got this bag 3 1/2 years ago when my son was first born. My husband hated toting around a big clunky diaper bag, so originally we got this just for his outings alone with the baby (they were never out for a full day). It held 2 Avent bottles, a couple of diapers & wipes box, clean pants in case of an accident, bib, pacifier & a couple of small toys. It turned out to be indespensible for short outings to dinner or to run errands (I was able to fit my wallet in the large part and my lipstick & cellphone in the outside pocket). We still use it for drinks, snacks & toys when we are travelling by plane or taking long car trips. Our son knows its his bag & he puts whatever he wants in it and he can carry it himself.
The clear liner does leak and it starts to smell. I took the advice of one of the other reviewers & cut out the clear liner & tossed it in the dishwasher. It looks great and is ready for baby #2 that's due in 6 weeks.
Fantastic...no problem with liner at all.
After reading some of the other reviews about the liner leaking I was a little hesitant to order this item but took my chances anyway. Boy am I glad I did, it's awesome! No leaky liner, keeps the food/drinks hot or cold and is the perfect size for a hungry toddler (and mom can keep a few things in it for her too:)
Best part is I just clip it onto my stroller and go, love it!
Great Bag, but it DOES leak
I got this bag as a gift at my baby shower over 20 months ago. I still love it. This is perfect for afternoon jaunts, travel, and taking to daycare every day. Now that she doesn't drink from bottles, I use this bag to pack her breakfast, lunch and snacks for daycare, along with 1 sippy cup in the small compartment(two will fit). Sometimes it can be a tight fit to get all her food in the bag, but it has never been a problem.
The only issue we have encountered is the so-called "leakproof PVC liner." What a crock! Within a matter of time, stuff started to accumulate between the liner and bottom of the bag. I found the tear (along the seams) in the liners and would reach in and clean it out. It was GROSS. No matter how well I tried to clean between the liner and the bottom of the bag, I just couldn't get every nook and craney. After a while it started to look awful. I was embarrased that my DCP had to see it. And, it began to smell. I thought about just throwing it away, but I decided to cut the liner out of both compartments instead and give it a good cleaning. After the cleaning, I took the shoulder strap off and threw it in my dishwasher. It looked brand new and it no longer smelled. Save yourself the hassle of trying to clean between the liner and bag when it begins to leak and just cut the liners out. My bag no longer smells and is easy to clean with a wet washcloth.
