From the Manufacturer

Style, performance, comfort and convenience. The newest edition to the Graco family of strollers, the Quattro Tour stroller is fast making a name for itself among moms and dads everywhere. Designed with bike frame technology, this aluminum stroller promises years of comfy strolling for infants thru toddlers. The 4-position recline adjusts for your child's comfort needs and the one hand Gravity Fold? simplifies life for mom and dad. Even better, when folded the stroller rests on the wheels so that it never comes in direct contact with the ground, keeping it clean and free of dirt. An extra large drop down basket is the perfect place for storing baby essentials and plenty of other gear. Additionally, this model includes a combination 3 or 5-point harness, Comfort Tracker (TM) time & temperature monitor, and a removable weather protection boot that keeps baby warm and cozy.

Editorial Review

It can sometimes be a little bit tricky to find a stroller that is strong, durable, and spacious for long walks while also being lightweight and manageable enough to handle easily in a variety of settings. This solid touring stroller from Graco strikes a nice balance, featuring excellent mobility and handling in our informal test while also being well appointed with features like a spacious lower storage basket, one-hand collapsibility, and four-position recline in the 40-pound capacity seat. Other niceties include toy and cup holders for the passenger (no cup holders for you, Mom and Dad—sorry) and a combination clock and thermometer. --Charlie Williams

Couldn't be more pleased and amazed with this stroller!, January 6, 2005

My husband and I initially purchased a lightweight Evenflo stroller for our daughter before she was born. Little did we know about strollers except what we had read. The Evenflo stroller had little basket room in back, had less-than-preferable handling and my baby didn't fit well in it. So now our daughter is 10 months old, we needed more in a stroller. I asked a fellow mom about her stroller, and she raved about her Graco Quattro. I checked out the reviews on Amazon.com and went straight to Babies R Us. Standing in the aisle for 30 minutes, I tried it out, folded it up, and looked over all its features in their entirety. I was impressed! My husband helped me put it together, and he was very impressed at the handling on this stroller. There's enough basket room for my diaper bag, purse, toys, and even shopping purchases. The seat back reclines and even lays flat when my baby naps. This stroller is a dream to fold down and load. I am SO impressed with this product!!!

A great all-terrain stroller., March 19, 2005

I have been using this stroller for 14 months, and I still tell everyone I meet about it. The main reason I went with it is that the storage basket collapses to allow access to its contents even with the stroller seat is completely reclined. This means that when baby is sleeping, or when you are using the carseat with the stroller, your diaper bag or cooler is not stuck beyond reach. At the time we bought it, it was the only stroller on the market with that feature.

The wheel structure is rugged and handles off-roading very well. On smooth pavement, etc., it handles beautifully. I do joke with people that pushing it is like driving a truck, because it is fairly large, and negotiating it around narrowly spaced displays in a department store can be a real challenge. There have been times while shopping that I have determined to buy a tiny umbrella stroller, but I love how much cargo I can take with me. There are two cupholders and two small compartments near the handle; the basket holds a lot; and when the seat is upright I can pile a lot of stuff between the handlebar and the top of the seat, where the extra material makes a kind of hammock. It is the perfect stroller for a trip to the zoo, but I use it for daily shopping and am very happy with it. It is not too heavy -- I have no trouble lifting it in and out of vehicles. It is rather large even when collapsed, but I don't really mind. I specifically chose a larger, sturdier stroller for its features -- if streamlining is a high priority, then go with something smaller like the Travelite. But if you want to be able to go everywhere and do everything, then this is the stroller for you.

Note that the standard Graco stroller accessories, like the toys on a post that fit into some sort of slot on strollers, do not work with this stroller. I bought a stroller bar from Sassy (like the Busy Bug one) with velcro straps, and my son has been very happy with that.

Incidentally, I love the color I chose, the Heatwave pattern. It is very soothing.
